This scientist organized numerous aid shipments for the suffering people of Iraq. In doing so he uncovered what until then had been a suppressed war crime, the area wide use of tank penetrating uranium enriched weapons, which are now also contaminating Bosnia and Yugoslavia, and particularly Kosovo.

By observing the children he treated the doctor came across an unknown disease that resulted in a painful death to humans and animals alike. The tons of tank destorying munitions are highly toxic and in time destroy every living thing in its envioronment, but this is not all (see back side).

In the battle zones of the Near East lie at least 300 tons of depleted uranium. Because of the unacceptably high risk to the health of cleanup crews sanitation orders were stopped. The bombed out areas continue to serve the USA and other NATO-States as a cost free laboratory to try out new horrific weapons, and at the same time, serves as a depot for the waste of their Nuclear industry.

When Professor Günther presented his evidence for the first time in Europe he was, due to his fact finding, condemned later imprisoned and tortured.

The pension payments of this gravely sick man were for a time canceled, and his acceptance into a heath insurance plan were through judicial means denied.

He desperately needs an operation.

Due to the purposeful destruction of drinking water facilities and canalization, epidemics are spreading out, Humans and animals alike are dying from thirst.

Extensive contact with Depleted Uranium munitions leads to
- a collapse of the immune system (resulting in infectious diseases
   with high mortality rates, polio, measles, typhoid and cholera)
- leukemia and other forms of cancer
- genetically caused deformity (seen also in animals)
- Diseases similar to Aids
- mental illnesses like, feeblemindedness, depression, neural brain
   damage
- malfunctioning of the kidney and liver (an until then unknown
   disease)
- frequent births of children unable to survive after birth and a high rate
  of miscarriages.

The 10 years of embargo with its catastrophic consequences such as a lack in medical care, medicines and food (undernourishment in children cause organ malfunctioning), substantially increases the death rate.

Through his investigations of the Environmental damage in
Iraq Prof. Günther has himself become very ill with the
above described "Golfwarsyndrome".
